Do you ever wonder if you are on the right path? Do you ever feel as if there should be so much more to life or that you have so much more to offer the world?


If this sounds familiar, then I designed this course for you.


Over this 10-week journey, you will learn who you truly are, from your values, to your strengths, to what brings you lasting joy. You will empower yourself with the understanding of how external forces have influenced your choices up until now and how to separate yourself from them. You will uncover your purpose, your "I am" statement, which will give you the answer to any question on how to design your life going forward.


In short, you will find your purpose and know just how to implement it into you life.


Over the 10 weeks you will:


1.    Learn what a life purpose is and the difference between your purpose and your mission

2.    Understand what brings you deep and lasting joy

3.    Develop a list of your values to help guide your choices

4.    Learn more about your strengths and how to make them shine

5.    Uncover what has always been true about who you are

6.    Recognize and manage your energy drainers and gainers

7.    Learn to understand where and how your life and external forces have had their influence on you and begin to develop strategies to manage those influences

8.    Sample the life you want and explore what the world has to offer you

9.    Formulate your “I am “ statement – the guiding phrase behind all actions going forward

10. Start to design your mission plan, using all you have learnt

Who is your instructor?


My name is Tara Van Dam and I am both the owner of Wholistic Joy Wellness, integrative coaching, as well as the creator of this school and the courses within.

Trained as a life coach, as well as a yoga instructor and meditation teacher, I bring together the methodology, practices, and principles of each to provide you with an entire body and mind journey.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to the USA with my husband back in 2014. After a rather traumatic start to life on the other side of the Atlantic, I found myself drawn to various wellness practices and that is how my work began.

Over the years I have served as a teacher, a mentor, and a coach, helping people to find the light in their lives. My drive in life is to help others to live with more happiness and fulfillment.

I truly believe that life is not meant to be a series of settles and compromises. Instead, we each have the capability and right to be who we were meant to be. Taking that further, I believe that the world is a far better place when we are all living up to our potential.

On a personal note, I am a mother of 2, a former surfer (before I moved to Atlanta), and a consistent runner. I practice a plant based and non cruelty lifestyle, and feel at my happiest when I am living simply and peacefully.
