At Wholistic Joy Wellness, I provide courses and coaching that speak to all areas of your wellbeing and happiness. From learning how to reach your potential, developing healthy habits and practices, to yoga, nutrition, and meditation. There is no part of the self that is off limits.

"Absolutely life changing and eye opening. This is not something you want to miss out on."

- Aminnah, former Life Purpose student

Self reflection is crucial

All personal growth and change takes intentional self-reflection. Whether it it through courses that access your strengths and values, or whether it is through learning more about plant based eating, no choice or path is accessed without mindfulness.

You deserve to be happy

We spend too much of our life accepting what is, as if things cannot get better. I am here to change your narrative; to speak the truth that you are meant to live a life that is full of joy. No more settling. You deserve to be happy.

Supportive

I am here for you throughout this journey. Should you need any 1:1 guidance, an ear to bounce thoughts off, or an actual person to communicate wins, struggles, and concerns with, I am available. I never want you to feel like you're navigating the wilderness of your heart and mind alone.

Who am I?

My name is Tara Van Dam and I am both the owner of Wholistic Joy Wellness, integrative coaching, as well as the creator of this school and the courses within.

Trained as a life coach, as well as a yoga instructor and meditation teacher, I bring together the methodology, practices, and principles of each to provide you with an entire body and mind journey.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to the USA with my husband back in 2014. After a rather traumatic start to life on the other side of the Atlantic, I found myself drawn to various wellness practices and that is how my work began.

Over the years I have served as a teacher, a mentor, and a coach, helping people to find the light in their lives. My drive in life is to help others to live with more happiness and fulfillment.

I truly believe that life is not meant to be a series of settles and compromises. Instead, we each have the capability and right to be who we were meant to be. Taking that further, I believe that the world is a far better place when we are all living up to our potential.

On a personal note, I am a mother of 2, a former surfer (before I moved to Atlanta), and a consistent runner. I practice a plant based and non cruelty lifestyle, and feel at my happiest when I am living simply and peacefully.
