Integrative Life Coaching
Trained as a life coach, a yoga instructor, and meditation teacher, I bring a unique approach to coaching.
Together we will work on your whole life, using tools and practices that come from coaching methodology as well as yoga and mindfulness.
I believe that not only do we need to set goals and design the steps to reach them, but we also need to implement practices in our life to support the ebb and flow that is naturally a part of being alive.
From your heart and mind, to your physical and subtle body, there is no part of your that is excluded or deemed unnecessary.
Through this coaching approach you will feel thoroughly supported and prepared to live your life from a place of confidence, peace, and vibrancy.
You will leave your time with me empowered with a deeper understanding of yourself, a toolbox of techniques and practices to support your growth, and a variety of ways to approach any situation.
Who is your coach?
My name is Tara Van Dam and I am both the owner of Wholistic Joy Wellness, integrative coaching, as well as the creator of this school and the courses within.
Trained as a life coach, as well as a yoga instructor and meditation teacher, I bring together the methodology, practices, and principles of each to provide you with an entire body and mind journey.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to the USA with my husband back in 2014. After a rather traumatic start to life on the other side of the Atlantic, I found myself drawn to various wellness practices and that is how my work began.
Over the years I have served as a teacher, a mentor, and a coach, helping people to find the light in their lives. My drive in life is to help others to live with more happiness and fulfillment.
I truly believe that life is not meant to be a series of settles and compromises. Instead, we each have the capability and right to be who we were meant to be. Taking that further, I believe that the world is a far better place when we are all living up to our potential.
On a personal note, I am a mother of 2, a former surfer (before I moved to Atlanta), and a consistent runner. I practice a plant based and non cruelty lifestyle, and feel at my happiest when I am living simply and peacefully.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?
Unfortunately no refunds are possible. However, if you discover that coaching is not for you, we simply decide to end our work together. You are not bound by any session minimums or contracts.
How do I schedule my appointment?
Upon purchasing coaching, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment as well as a Welcome Packet with all the necessary info.
Can I purchase coaching more than once?
Absolutely! Coaching works best if it is done consistently over several months. We will start at connecting twice a month and continue our work for as long as you feel it is serving you.
How long should I pursue coaching for?
This is entirely up to you, although I do recommend a minimum of 8 sessions. It takes time for us to develop our working relationship and reach a place of trust and effectiveness.
